Road Trip

By this afternoon, after a weekend spent with all three of us watching movies and sleeping off a cold/flu, we were feeling better and ready for an adventure. We decided to take our new minivan (or the "tv that comes with a car" as Kiera has called it) on a little road trip up to Harrison Hot Springs.

We enjoyed a nice dinner overlooking the lake and a walk along the beach.

Clayburn Village Heritage Day

Today the rain held off long enough for us to enjoy Clayburn Village Heritage Day with our friends Melissa and Donna.

The girls shared a desk during a lesson in the old school house.Kiera mooched... er, shared some of Melissa's goldfish crackers,
and we enjoyed a fiddle concert over lunch.
How often do you get the chance to run free down the middle of the street?
