Last week we were at the Pan Pacific for the Kiewit convention on Kiera's birthday and into the weekend. The conference was interesting, it is a huge event and Kiewit does it well. Gordon Campbell and Kevin Falcon both came to give speeches (can you tell it is an election year?).
We made sure it was special for the birthday girl. We brought along her presents, took her for a swim in the (outdoor!) hotel pool and she had dinner at her favourite restaurant, McDonalds (lucky Grandma and Grandpa - Ken and I were at a dinner/dance).
